This morning we took Jack in at 6:20 to Centinnel Medical for his tube procedure. The surgery was at 7:20 and we were in the car by 8:00. Jack looked precious in his sock monkey pjs, matching robe, slippers, and carrying his sock monkey. His nickname was Hugh by all the nurses. While waiting for his turn he was looking around calling for the doctor's. When it was his time to go back he looked at us a bit confused but didn't cry and was a real trooper. After about 10 minutes Dr. Mahendale came back and told us there was fluid drained in both ears, no infection was present so we can discontinue the current antibiotics, and the only thing is to keep up with Tylenol today, put in antibiotic drops twice a day for 2 days, and use plugs if dirty water. Otherwise we were good to go in about 20 minutes. Had some milk, vanilla wafers, and a few tears then headed home. He for sure cried the most when leaving Nick to head home. We pulled into Starbucks for Mom, tried to fill the script but the pharmacy was closed, Jack picked out croissants for breakfast and we are home eating breakfast while watching what else but CARS! I'll upload some pics later...Nick has the camera at work. Looking forward to a day with my little man.
