Finishing Up January

The week ended finally after our snow day at home. Friday we picked Jack up to find out that he was stealing toys, running off with them, and smiling when being talked to by his teachers. They were shocked because he is normally (besides that one time on the table) on his best behavior at Watters...here's hoping it isn't a pattern, but happy that it wasn't a report that he bit another kid like he was bit last week. I'm sure our day is coming though!

The boys dropped me off at Presby Dallas for an Upper CT test ordered by the gastro in response to the barium tablet getting logged in my esophagus and seeing my aorta putting pressure on it from the Upper GI. Nothing like a happy hour long neck of barium (vanilla flavored this time-I was on the frequent flyer side of the office with leather sofas, warm blankets, and nice lighting-moving on up in the world). At least there was a fellow Tiger fan waiting with me to pass the time before my IV and test. After a tease vial of saline (for those confused...don't ask....for those that know..you understand how bad I wanted more especially with those warm blankets wrapped around me), the 2nd half of my long neck, some iodine injected into my veins (SUPER WEIRD FEELING), and some radiation in a donut, and it was over. Had to hang around awhile while the boys continued to shop at Northpark to make sure my itching wasn't an allergic reaction to the iodine...now it is wait til Friday the 13th for my results at my follow up appointment...hope the date isn't a sign of what is to come from the tests.

Saturday morning Jack and I hung out then after nap headed to the McWilliams after nap to play while the boys were playing golf. Here are Jack and Olivia doing some art work after playing in her kitchen.
Lucy being here is important a few minutes later after Jack threw Olivia off the bench and pushed everything off her desk in her room. I put him in time out in the living room and headed to clean up the mess...to hear a scream and a blur as he took off from the living room into Karen and Aaron's room with Lucy chasing after him. The scream continued and he threw himself on the floor in fear...pretty sure he won't throw Olivia down or knock stuff off the table again if Lucy is his punishment. :)

We weren't expecting the boys to be gone that long...Karen and I were thinking nice dinner out when they returned to tend to the kids, but instead it was pizza then we took off to do some shopping alone without the boys and babies. Nick and Jack were stuck because I had the keys to the Pathfinder (a whole other issue) and I guess since Jack hasn't been to their house in awhile and didn't have his pjs (in the Pathfinder) he couldn't sleep so he was up til after 11 when we got home.
Do you think he was tired. This was him when we were trying to put on his nighttime diaper and pjs.

I'm feeling a bit under the weather, dreading the week ahead, and wishing Spring Break was here NOW!
