The 3 Musketeers

Even though Jack and I are trying the Level 3 on Fridays we snuck into our old Level 2 on Wednesday so the 3 kiddos (& Moms) could be together one last time. It seems like just yesterday that we met at the hopsital Mom's Group, which carried over to Gymboree, and ended in great friends supporting each other through this adventure of parenthood. I dare to say it is the last time together because I know that we will stay in touch and make sure that the kiddos are able to play with each other again one day.

Our little Jack...if you notice the clown and all the toys in the center of the circle for the kids to play with while the Moms have share time...not Jack. He went outside the circle, behind Mrs. Linda's back and found himself a treasure...the empty tub that the toys were in. From there he preceded to push it around the outside and inside of the circle while blah, blah, blahing the whole time. I thought it was funny when Amber leaned over and said he was my child and that he was probably in his own language telling everyone to wipe down the toys and put them back in the box. That's my boy!

Again....all the kids are crawling around the gym and playing together....not Jack...he was cracking himself up in the mirror with his two little spiders that he found on his way there. This "vain" trait I can't claim...that is all DAD.

We finally roped him in and got him up to the top of the slides with the girls...after pulling on some hair, sharing his toys with them, and going in for a kiss with Olivia...it was time to make sure everyone saw and heard him...my interpretation of his chanting...

"Hey boys, check me out....I got all the ladies up here in my castle!"

Be Sure To Come Back And Visit Cora

Jack's friend Cora (and my friend, her mom-Amber) are moving next week to Lubbock. We tried to get the 3 Musketeers together one last time but Olivia and her Mom Karen couldn't make it. Tomorrow we are going to attempt again. But if not at least Jack and I got to hang out with them one last time. Hopefully we will see them again and I know for sure we'll keep in touch.

"Cora...you have got to come and check out this Iquana...his skin is so bumpy."

"Whatever Jack...I'm having my picture taken!"

"Shake, Shake, Shake, Shake...you know like we learned in Music Class."

"Jack get over here...this is our favorite book and my mom used to be a teacher so she reads it really good."

"Jack listen...this is my favorite page...but I do think that it should say Cora, Cora- What do you see instead of Children, Children- What do you see."

Mardi Grad Mambo-Jack's Version

Jack enjoyed getting to see the Relle Grandparents again. He might even start to think they are his parents if Nick and I continue our social butterfly streak. There are more pictures of Jack and a ton of pictures from the Bacchus Ball but I'm at the mercy of those that also had their cameras throughout the weekend to send them my way...hint, hint, hint. Once I get some I'll just do a post with a hodgepodge of pictures because I know after stalking them after they were taken that there were some great shots over the course of the weekend.

Here is Jack at Mandina's after enjoying his Gerber Spaghetti and Meatballs...the rest of us enjoyed Mandina's specialties. Maybe next time he will be able to order off the kids menu.

"Maw Maw is fun to play with!"

"Here Emmy, Emmy!"

"No Paw Paw...let me show you how that goes in there."

"Look, Mom is obsessed with tupperware...I'm sure she wouldn't mind me playing with it in the cabinet. I could even label it for you....and while I'm at it....got any Tot Locks and a drill? I could make this cabinet much safer for me."

"I can't believe Dad dressed up as a penguin and is missing Super Bowl. The commercials are hilarious too. Mom has him whipped!"

Mardi Gras Mambo

Jack like last time was perfect on the plane and of course was sporting his LSU National Championship Shirt that Dad brought him from the game since he was entering the Tigers State. Wait a second...where is my shirt Nick-Papa C?!?

Here was Nick in the parking garage where we hung out for 30 minutes as he faught the new car seat that Maw Maw bought for Jack. No worries...Jack had a blast roaming around the back of the car, talking to Nick, and even throwing things over the seat which Nick thought was not so cute.

Here is the man of the hour...we flew in to support Brian for his first ever ride on a Mardi Gras float-Bacchus 2008. This picture was taken as all the riders were loading on their floats.

Here is Nick and I at the Ball..Don't we look great? (Thanks Deb for picking out such a great bridesmaid dress!). The ball was a blast...of course there were a few mishaps...one in which landed Nick at the First Aid Station...but hey, that is what makes it even more memorible. It's going to take us "old folks" awhile to recoup from this one.
