My team mate Ashley found out Friday that a mole she had a biopsy done on Tuesday was melanoma. They called her Mom on Friday to come and get her from school and take her straight to the plastic surgeon. I won't go into all the details but it is in her tissue, they are scanning her tomorrow to see if is has spread, and then tomorrow afternoon she is having the mole (plus 1 inch diameter around) and a lymph node removed. I just hope they it has not spread and that they are able to remove it all...she is only 24 and has been told that if it has spread that chemo won't be very successful in fighting it.....Wear sunscreen everyone (I'm guilty in the past as well)....life is too short as is...don't add to it.....
Please keep Ashley in your thoughts....
And if anyone knows of someone to take hexes off of buildings...Nick and I's school clearly has something up because there has been more tragedy since they opened their doors last August that one staff can take.
