A Usual Saturday-Packed Full

After a rough night with not much sleep we woke up to run around like chickens with our heads cut off to get ready for our holiday pictures at LE's. We hosted a portrait party and although it was a bit of work to get people interested and figure out times...it was worth it because of the host perks. After taking a few pictures of Olivia and Jack (the McWilliam's picture time was right after ours) we changed Jack into his cowboy costume and headed to Luke's house for a Post Halloween Party.

The weather was not what we expected for November...aka....freaking hot. Most of the kiddos striped down from their costumes and luckily Jack had some shorts, but he only had the shirt from our pictures so it had to do. We borrowed some sunscreen and enjoyed ourselves a ton...THANKS VANZEELANDS!!!

The last time Tina and Luke had us over to test out the bounce house Jack was a bit unsure and had more fun playing with the sand table.
This time the only thing he was unsure of was which way to bounce first.

"That looked cool...it's my turn now."

"Wow...that was a big climb."

"Watch out below...here I come!"

After playing on the bounce house Jack headed to join the others at the hit of the party...the ice bucket. They had a blast eating the ice, climbing in and out, and passing out the drinks that were in the bucket.

"Hey Mom...do I look like a pig? Guess so with all this ketchup on my nice white shirt...Luke's Dad grills up some tasty hot dogs."

"Hey Nathan...come in and play with me. This bounce house is fun and it has balls in it."

"Hi Nate...did you know you look like a lion today? Let's roll this beach ball around."

While we were getting stuff together Jack found a shady hail bail to climb on. Tina had set up cute stations around the yard on hail bails...magnetic Halloween frame making, decorating pumpkins, and face painting...we didn't get to do any of them but took our materials to go...looks like we are going to have more Halloween fun tomorrow.

We couldn't get out the door without one more go around in the Toddler Island Adventure...Here is Jack with BamBam.

"Watch Mom....I can run down the slide too!"

"Thanks Luke...this was AWESOME...way better than taking holiday pictures. Let's get together real soon."

"Thanks Mom for letting me borrow your glasses...I didn't pack mine...who knew it was going to be this sunny today."

A video treat!
