I Smell T-R-O-U-B-L-E!

I have this rule where I won't get Jack out of his crib til 7 or later in the morning. This is to avoid the start time of our day from creeping from early to earlier. So this morning I hear him up but I roll over to go back in bed because he is just talking to himself and playing with his crib toy. They say that silence is bad...all of a sudden I hear silence so I jump up in a panic to hear him breathing REALLY LOUD in the monitor which is strange because it is on the table next to his crib. Then all of a sudden I hear this terrible CRASH. I jump up and "briskly walk" to his room and peak in the door. He is all the way in the corner of the crib with his hand through the bars above the bumper. I instantly know what it is and get the camera to catch this bundle of TROUBLE in the act...Jack has reached through to not only get and knock the monitor onto the floor, but also push the table over which leaves the plant just barely on the table. I quickly have more visions of life in the Relle house as he continues to grow and figure out what he is capable of. After me snapping this picture, out popped WubNub, and that huge smile made his little mischief alright in my eyes...I won't tell Dad!

Notice in the picture how when I entered the room Jack was sitting up. This is a new trick he mastered while in Baton Rouge...well problem is...he gets up in his crib in the middle of the night but then has anxiety about getting back down. He'll cry til we come and lay him down or like the other night....Nick went in and he was asleep, sitting up, with WubNub in his mouth. Poor thing...but it is really kinda funny!

I've also been taking pictures when Jack tries out new veggies in hopes of catching some more yucky faces...but he likes them all (which is great and suprising considering his Dad's picky taste buds)...so far we have had applesauce (not a veggie I realize), green beans, squash, and sweet potatoes. I keep going back to peas...but the gagging starts back at the first bite. We're not giving up though. Sunday we are trying avocado and then we move on to the fruits.
