This morning Jack and Nick headed to Northpark Mall (in Dallas) for this month's Daddy Day Adventures at the miniature train exhibit. There was a total of 10 dad's, 10 babies in front carries, 10 diaper bags, and 1 brave instructor. Since this event was crowded the Dad's were on their own and she walked around to offer suggestions and model brain developmental conversations to have between adult and baby.
Here is a little exert from their website about the attraction:
Spanning more than 2,800 square feet and featuring more than 40 locomotives chugging simultaneously along 2,500 feet of track, The Trains at NorthPark(TM) returns for its 8th year at NorthPark Center to a new location on Level Two next to Neiman Marcus and near Barneys New York. The most elaborate toy train exhibit in all of Texas, the Trains at NorthPark(TM) features vintage locomotives from the private train collection of Dallas native Ban Bywaters, whizzing on a journey across America, past miniature national landmarks including Mount Rushmore, Dallas' skyline, New York City's Times Square and Washington, D.C.
So I had some pictures to show you guys Nick had to get creative and take shots on his own. Don't you just love the hat he got with his admission ticket?!?
The outing was a success because little man Jack (who did have pants on when he left with Nick) was passed out when they got home.
