Today at Gymboree we worked on Trust. This meant that the activities we did Jack had to trust me and himself in order to relax and have fun. Some of the things we did were rocking horses/boats, parachute mountain repelling, parachute snow sliding, parachute train, parachute hammock, and parachute/tube skiing. For sure one of our top themes this Session. He just smiled and laughed the whole time. By the time I pulled out the parking lot onto the street he was OUT which is amazing because I was begging him to stay up with me til we got home so he'd have a solid nap.
Here is Jack's teacher pulling him on the parachute train while singing and blowing the whistle. It took a few tumbles for him to realize he needed to balance himself and trust her not to do anything crazy while he was riding the "train".
Here Jack rode a snow sled down a parachute mountain....I thought it would go faster than this...but he seemed to have fun sliding down in slow motion.
