This morning after Jack's nap we headed to Northpark with Ashley and Nathan to visit with my long term sub Heather and her 4 month old girl-Olivia. It was great to see Heather and little Claire has grown so much since we first saw here in December. The boys weren't too much into sitting and visiting at the food court so we had to talk and walk (popping in a few baby stores of course...but I didn't buy anything I promise).
Here are the kiddos chilling in their strollers.
When we got home after dinner Jack had sometime to play in his knock off Anywhere Chair. I have seen so many people with the Pottery Barn Anywhere Chair and love them...but they are over $100 and more if you get it personalized. Even if I was working this year I'm way to cheap to spend that kind of money on a chair for a toddler-even though I desperately wanted one. So when I saw these knock offs I knew Jack just had to have one. We returned the frog overstock (yes, I might have gone a bit frog overboard in preparation for the party) and used that money to get Jack the Target Anywhere Chair {I heart Target!}. It is our birthday gift to him other than his party and I don't know...life. Here he is enjoying his new big kid furniture in the living room.
"I'm not really sure about this...is this to try to get me to stay still-because I won't"
"It's not that bad after all-I look like Mom...now all I need is a Diet Dr. Pepper, the remote, the laptop, both phones within arms reach, and the camera because we can't do anything without it in hand. I also look like Dad...now all I need is a Coke, a peanut butter sandwich, the Internet on ESPN.GO.COM, and the Tivo remote to watch Pardon the Interruption on ESPN."
"I think my Anywhere Chair gives more support and it just overall built better than Mom and Dad's couch and love seat."
"Yo Mom, can you toss me a cold bottle please? And some Puffs while you're at it!"
