Hoppy Birthday Jack!

Sunday afternoon we had Jack's Party here in Dallas. We almost cancelled it due to him having a fever...but since the house was clean, the food was bought, and we wanted to celebrate our little man...we let everyone know about him feeling under the weather and left it up to them if they still wanted to come. Despite his temp we had a great turn out. Now I just hope none of Jack's little friends get sick from him. Just remember in the pictures that Jack wasn't feeling well-hence the no smile...but inside he was having a BLAST!!

Special Thanks to Lisa and Ashley for taking all the pictures. Both my camera batteries died so I was relying on them to capture the special day for us.

The frog man of the hour!

We left out only a few of Jack's everyday toys and added a baby blow up pool full of balls for the kids to play in.

Ethan was the oldest of the bunch. I think he had fun showing all the little ones the ropes of birthday parties.

Pretty sure Nathan thought the party was his...that's alright...we appreciated him smiling enough for him and Jack.

Little Miss Olivia was taking notes on things she wants for her party at the end of the month. "Mom & Dad, One of these ball pits might be fun!!"

As usual...Willow brightens up everyone around her.

Angela's niece Lauren came for the festivities. She was trying to tell Jack good-bye but he was too busy eating the Little People Fire Man he got from the Tavares's

Jack wasn't interested in playing with any of his toys or the ball pit. He mainly walked around looking at everyone. This is one of the few shots of the birthday boy playing with his friends.

It took him awhile to even reach out for it. Can you tell he has never had any fun with his food before?

OK. Here he is after "eating" his cake for awhile. By this point though he was about done with being social so directly to the tub he went and then to nap not long after. This was Jack's first taste at anything with added sugar other than the Diet Dr. Pepper of course. Not sure how he liked it...guess we'll know better at his Louisiana party when he is feeling better (hopefully).

Opening up all his great gifts with Dad's help. Can't you just see the energy he is overflowing with?!?

All the kiddos got frog sippy cups as party favors. Willow even got to enjoy hers before she left.
