One Step Forward

And you know the rest...Jack did so well yesterday we decided to give him some of the formula this morning and as you guessed...it came back up shortly after. Of all rooms he picked our room (you know the room that we didn't order wood floors for today). Other than that he did well today as long as the only thing consumed was pedialyte, water, crackers, and cheerios...a growing boy can survive on that can't he?!?
"Sorry Daddy...I didn't mean to. Can I help clean up? I'll go get my Cleaning Trolley."
By the afternoon Jack was doing OK so we decided to run down the street to his hair appointment with Mrs. Amy. I hadn't combed it in a few days so it was looking rough and she thought it best since it was changing to give him a big kid cut. I kept trying to say that jelling it over so often wasn't a bother, that I had some upcoming pictures I wanted to take with him the way he was , and every other excuse under the sun but her and Nick told me that we needed to try it with the promise that she'd help it look good while growing out if I didn't like it. Well...
although it looks good...it's not my Baby Jack.
I mean really who is this boy?
Where did my baby go?!?!?

On Monday Jack starts at Watters and they are placing him straight into the Toddler room (18 month olds-he is 16 months but this avoids him having to transition after getting comfortable in the Infant Room). He'll be the baby of the group but at least now he will fit in with his new do. And as for my decision about growing it out...we'll see...
