Last night (yes, my anniversary-but as Nick put it...every day is an anniversary to us so we don't need to spend the actual anniversary together) Karen and I went to The Dinner Station in Plano. It is 2 hours, bring your own beverage, make meals, and when you leave you have had a good time, have a good buzz, and have however many meals you made ready to put into the freezer. Now...we don't have much freezer space because Nick got a Bar B Que pit instead last year for an anniversary gift from his parents, so before I went we had to do some major cleaning out so we had room to put it all.
It was a lot of fun and when you break down the prices it is a pretty good deal. The menu for June was good so we decided to give it a try to see if it is something that we will do next year with both of us working to make things a little easier on those crazy nights/weeks.
I made 9 meals- 2 Spinach and Cream Cheese Stuffed Pork Tenderloins, 2 Honey and Ginger Shrimp/Pineapple Kabobs, Pecan Crusted Tilapia, Cajun Tilapia, Mexican Casserole, Smothered Pork Medallions with Green Pepper Sauce, and Chicken Pot Pie. I also ordered 2 sides- Creamed Spinach and Broccoli/Cheese Rice which were both already made and frozen for you.
