Party Pooped Out

What a weekend! The Relle Clan has been non-stop. Friday was the usual Gymboree and on the way home I stretched Jack as far as he would go by stopping at an Albertson's that is going out of business. Got a ton of Gerber food for cheap, cheap though so it was worth it. That night after a nap from the morning/early afternoon activities we headed to Babies R Us with a coupon to buy a life vest for Jack (you know after the "dip" situation on Thursday).

Saturday was no different...non-stop. We spent the morning cleaning for the Northlake friends Bar-B-Que, went running errands buying food for the BBQ, and then the house was full of people, food, drinks, and fun.
The next morning we were all struggling trying to recover from the night.
Jack was even lacking the ability to bounce up and down on Nick's stomach...which is rare.
And when asked if he was ready to take a nap he crawled to his room...not sure if he has crawled once since taking those first steps. When he woke up from his morning nap he was burning up with a fever that didn't go down throughout the day. We layed low except for one trip to the store where we bought the Ergo because they were having a huge sale...bought a Moby carrier for baby number 2...I know...I can't help it...I'm a bargain shopper.
He slept good last night and woke up with a small fever. You can tell he isn't back up and running because he was willing to just sit outside instead of roaming the yard and playing with his toys. This boy loves outdoors more than anyone I have ever seen....he sits at the backdoor and cries til you take him out...it's going to be a long, hot Summer for us Relle's.

Nick is about to head "to the city" to pick up Uncle Blake who is spending the week with us. Jack and I are staying back because we want him to get as much rest as he can so this yucky fever will go away.
